There are two ways to start a build with us. From a blank page, or with an architect you have already engaged. Once the build begins, both run the same way.

Site-Specific Design

We develop the concept from a blank page, starting with the site and the way you want to live in it. Micky runs this stage himself, and stays on the job through to handover.

Architect-Led Build

If you already have an architect, we contract for the build and coordinate constructability. We work with your architect as a peer, not under them and not around them. We take on a small number of these each year.

How We Begin

The first step is a conversation. We look at the site, the brief and the budget, and work out whether there is a realistic basis to proceed. If there isn't, we say so then.

If there is, the next step is a paid concept stage. It is not a free quote and it is not a commitment to build. If you go ahead, the fee is credited back against your pre-construction agreement.

By that point the decision is yours. The concept stage exists so you can make it with something real in front of you rather than a number on a page.
